Digital Technologies


 

Our Digital Technologies curriculum enables students to become confident and creative developers of digital solutions through the application of information systems and specific ways of thinking about problem solving.

 

Students acquire a deep knowledge and understanding of digital systems, data and information and the processes associated with creating digital solutions so they can take an active role in meeting current and future needs.

 

At Iramoo Primary School students from Prep to Year 6 are involved in a variety of learning activities to develop and apply their knowledge and skills in Digital Technologies.  Our students are immersed in rich learning experiences that help them become independent, productive and responsible users of Technology.

 

Some of the learning activities and programs our students are involved in include:

 

Prep – Year 2: Kid Pix, Photo Booth, Robotics – Cubettos, Comic Life 3

 

Year 3 – Year 4: eSafety, Kid Pix, Numbers, Comic Life 3, Keynote slideshow, iMovie, Photobooth, Coding and Robotics using Ozobots

 

Year 5 – Year 6: eSafety, Numbers, Comic Life 3, Garage Band, Coding including Scratch Desktop Coding, Robotics – Sphero robots using Sphero Edu ipad and application.
